| | This is how the AWS Flush Trough works: Strong soilings and deposits remain on the floor of a retention basin after each storage event.AWS-Flush Troughs are installed elevated in basins or channels and are filled for flushing after the basin is filled with water or wastewater. When completely full the Flush Trough tipps automatically and drains the charge vertically. After redirection into a horizontal direction the flushwater creates a strong flush surge over the flush way/ basin floor. Deposits are directed to the pump sump. From the pump sump contaminants are pumped back into the sewer. The form of the AWS-Flush Trough has been developed using finite element modelling (FEM). Through FEM modells the optimal material load has been developed and the amount of material used has been minimized. Therefore, the weight has been optimized. The AWS-Flush Trough is the state of the art of the international market. |
